Rare early Marlin Model 1894 357Magnum Lever Action Carbine. With front mounted barrel band, dove tail blade sight and flip up buck horn rear sight. These rifles were only produced for a short period in this configuration. It retains the Micro-Groove rifling which produces less bullet distortion creating a better gas seal, giving increased accuracy. Manufactured in North Haven, Connecticut with the original ‘JM’ stamp. Stock is crafted from genuine fine figured grain American black walnut. Excellent unmarked condition through out.
